2017-2018 year has begun! Let's have fun!

Our new playground is a big hit! The sand, chalk, ropes, poles and open space give us many opportunities to be creative. We even have a special spot for an outdoor learning area. Thank you to everyone who made this new playground possible. We kindly ask that students wait at the end of the day for Mrs. Linse to finish dismissing her class from playground before parents and our friends re-enter. If you could wait for the 3:10 bell it would be much appreciated and would really help during dismissal.
Just a reminder that Kindergarten dismissal is at 3:00.

We are getting to know all our new friends and doing our best to be kind and loving towards one another.
Bonding inside and outside has been great.
Some of us have started to conquer numbers 1-9 with dots, words and numbers.
Others have been busy creating visuals of their names for our classroom.
Some of us are forming many new bonds with new friends.
Building, counting, shapes, letters and words have all been a part of our days.

Creating our portraits has been a fun challenge this week.
More to come on our blog! For now meet our year one friends:
Our new students came home with red hand prints for you.

 Just a few quick reminders:
-Please sign up for our REMIND app!
-Please try your best to pay for school related expenses (lunches and others that may arise) via online payment through school cash online (if you need assistance call office).
-Please pack extra clothes for school
-It is cold season around the corner...Lysol wipes and tissues for runny noses are much needed in our classroom. We would be grateful for any help with this.
-Please label snack number one as "1" (even if there are two snack ones both labeled "1"), lunch as "2" and final snacks as "3".
