These rainy days have been bringing everyone down, we have seen more sleepyheads, more tears, more sleep ins, and yet we still manage to have fun and continue to learn. We did post many photos for you to view via HomeRoom and we hope many of you added yourselves through that link. Any issues please contact us.
We learned a lot about Aboriginal People of Canada. We have tried to rebuild their homes, learn some of their traditions (such as talking circles) and learned about Totem Poles.
Some of us have enjoyed learning about insects and specifically butterflies/caterpillars. We used our smart board to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly through a fun interactive lesson.
We continue to learn letters and numbers in our class. Our class LOVES number talks!

We continue to always keep God in our hearts. These past few weeks we have made beautiful Jesus necklaces, gone to mass and we have had Father David visit. He taught us so much about Adam and Eve and he used a letter and wax to explain the story (ask your children about it).

Some of you may remember we celebrated a special birthday with a Star Wars theme. We used this theme to do writing, crafts and have lots of fun.
Today we had Jump Rope for Heart and we would like to thank all our children for participating.
HomeRoom provides you with many more photos and even videos from our days so please make sure you take a look! We add pictures sometimes daily.
For those that haven't checked HomeRoom here are a few clippings from the past little while.

Have you heard about our magical plant? We cannot wait to see what magical message appears from it!

Have a wonderful Mother's Day to all our wonderful mommies. We hope you get to relax a little.
