Christmas Cheer

Thank you for supporting our class during their concert ♥. We loved seeing your photos and here are just a few from those that you shared with us. We would love to share them all!
Rudolph was per request of students.
We sure did look fancy 😊.
Some fun activities from this week:

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the LOVE and UNDERSTANDING and SUPPORT this past week and a bit. We hope the Christmas Concert helped bring some Christmas Cheer to all your hearts! It sure did to ours!

We apologize to year two parents for not sending the monthly challenge home this week. However, as you know some hiccups arose and this halted the challenge being sent home.
We also apologize for any difficulties in communication this past week and a bit. Due to many changes in staff during the week in our class we know things may have been somewhat inconsistent. We did our best to keep things as normal as possible and we hope all is well. Please let us know of any concerns.
Let's have a WONDERFUL last week! Pick up is at 1:30 on Friday.

Let Christmas Cheer and blessings surround us and our little monkeys.

December is here!

December means hats and love ♥️!
We talked about the word "Hope" this week and we made our very own Advent wreath with our hands.
It turned out pretty great! Our first candle is lit and on our wreath!

We challenged our students to make their own 3D shapes with only clay, straws and pospsicle sticks! We were quite pleased with how great they problem solved!
"I made a triangular prism"
"Look look I made a cube!"
"I made sticks to make it flat"
The mega letter hunt on the white board!
Working on fine motor skills and patterning was also ALOT of fun.
Our new donated Doctor kit is quite the hit! What a great way to incorporate dramatic arts, communication, and social skills into our day. Do you have any costumes or cool things we can add to our collection? Send them in!
We had one student share a book about counting to 100. This created a fun center with numbers and stampers.

Did you get to try the pine cone experiment? It's pretty cool isn't it. All students took home a pine cone after we questioned why sometimes they are closed and sometimes open. Ask your child what they learned if you haven't yet. It's pretty cool.
Word and letter fun.
Problem solving outside to build a bridge with resources from the shed. This took a lot of team work and many tries before we got it.
Rosie visited us yesterday and she made a mess!
She will be keeping an eye on us over the next few weeks to tell Santa how we do in school.
She asked us to decorate so we got right to it.

Happy December!
